To change the status to Registered, investors should:

  • ·Complete PAN-Aadhaar seeding
  • ·Update and validate email ID/ mobile
  • ·Re-submit any pending documents to KRA

Re-KYC using Aadhaar as the Officially Valid Document is recommended to achieve KYC Validated status for seamless transactions in the securities market.

KRAs have updated the KYC status of all existing KYC-compliant investors by validating four key attributes: PAN, name and address (using official databases like the Income Tax database, Aadhaar XML/DigiLocker/M-Aadhaar), and email ID/mobile number (if provided). The status will be either KYC Validated, KYC Registered or KYC On Hold.
